Excellent Introduction

I found this book to exactly fit my needs. I have become interested in lexicology but know nothing, this is a great introduction to the subject. The authors make the subject understandable without watering down the necessary nomenclature. I may not be a linguist but I'm not a first grader and I hate introductory books that treat the reader like an idiot, this one does not.
