David Roberts (b. 1937) is Emeritus Professor of German at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia and an editor of the social theory journal Thesis Eleven. He is co-author of Dialectic in Romanticism and co-editor of The European Community in the 1990s and The Modern German Historical Novel.
